Tulan Khan

Tulan Khan was the nickname and we don't know his full name. We don't know names of his parents. We don't know name of his wife. He was born in Bareilly and lived all his life in this city. Tulan Khan was an 'Tarkash' ( wire-drawer), and owned business making gold and silver threads for embroidery. Tulan Khan's oldest son Mubarak Shah Khan died in 1912 when his daughter Zarina Begum was only three months old. Tulan Khan took the responsibility of raising her. Tulan Khan died in 1927 in Barielly few months after the marriage of his granddaughter Zarina Begum.
